Thanksgiving is my kids least favorite holiday. The only item of food they like to eat is pumpkin pie. And that’s because they get to have whipped cream on top:)

Even though it’s not their favorite holiday I still like to read Thanksgiving-themed books to help them. It helps them to have a better understanding of what Thanksgiving is about.

I want them to know that it’s not about eating turkey and pumpkin pie. It’s about being thankful for what you have. It’s also a good opportunity to teach them about the history of the first Thanksgiving.
