Earn Money from Home with these 5 Crowdsourcing sites:

  • MTurk
  • Appen
  • Leapforce
  • Clickworker
  • iSoftstone

MTurk

MTurk is on the Amazon platform. It is a marketplace for work that requires human intelligence.  Workers, complete micro-tasks or surveys to make money. The amount of money you can earn depends on how much you want to work. Some tasks only pay one cent while others like a survey could pay $16. Usually, though you will find surveys for .25 cents to one dollar. Mturk is the platform that I work on.

I have been completing tasks on Mturk for over a year now. Even though I don’t make a lot of money, I’m able to make $20-$80 a week, which is something. I only put in a few hours a week though. The more hours you work, the more earning potential you have.

Appen

Appen is an internet-based data collection from home. Crowdsourcing positions are part-time (up to 20 hours per week) and flexible. Jobs that I usually see them offering are social media and web search evaluator. Appen offered me two different projects to work on. The pay wasn’t much but again it’s something.

Leapforce

Leapforce hires at home agents who conduct in-depth internet-based research and provide information evaluation for leading companies from around the globe. I didn’t have any luck with Leapforce. I applied for a position but never heard back. There is an assessment exam you are required to pass before you are offered employment and from what I have read it is very hard. If you are offered a position you could earn up to $13 an hour which is very good compared to some of these other sites.

Clickworker

Clickworker is looking for Internet users worldwide who can create or correct texts, participate in surveys or search and categorize data. When I applied to Clickworker my application was accepted right away but to access the better-paying jobs you have to take the URHS test which is not always offered. I do sometimes receive emails from Clickworker telling me about a job that is available.

iSoftStone

ISoftStone hires people for a broad variety of jobs specializing in different areas, from hardware testing to data entry, localization to translation.

Crowdsourcing is a Good Side Hustle

Though it is possible to make a full-time income working on Crowdsourcing sites don’t expect it. But, if you are looking for a side hustle these sites could be what you are looking for.

The site that I am familiar with is MTurk. If you would like to learn more about my experience on MTurk you can check out this post.
Being a stay at home mom, I can’t commit to working at certain times. I need something that offers flexibility. Crowdsourcing sites are a great way for me to earn money from home on my own time.
